Our Wahine are a vital part of our community, yet some face bullying and discrimination due to their size. In this workshop led by Yasmin Cravalho, biology student, lab assistant, and Miss Kahala Plus 2024, we want to create a supportive environment where everyone can confidently embrace their beauty. By boosting self-esteem, we hope to make a positive impact not just for today, but for future generations too. Let's join hands in celebrating diversity and fostering a culture of self-love and acceptance. *** Wahine Wellness is a mental health education series to empower and uplift women and girls. Presented by Samaritan Counseling Center Hawaii, in partnership with First United Methodist Church and the Women's Fund of Hawai'i. Samaritan Counseling Center Hawai'i is a nonprofit organization that provides professional, accessible mental health counseling, regardless of ability to pay. |
