Made in Hawaii Festival celebrates 25 years A 3-day showcase of local products and entertainment, presented by First Hawaiian Bank August 16-18, 2019 HONOLULU – Save the date! First Hawaiian Bank presents the 25th annual Made in Hawaii Festival, coming to the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall and Arena on Statehood Day Weekend, August 16-19, 2019. In 1995, the inaugural Made in Hawaii Festival opened its doors with 61 exhibitor booths in the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Twenty-five years later, the festival has grown to become Hawaii’s premier emporium with more than 450 booths showcasing the diversity of locally made products. The Made in Hawaii Festival is produced by the Hawaii Food Industry Association, which is proud to salute First Hawaiian Bank as the title sponsor since the festival’s inception. Hawaiian Airlines is the official airline carrier for the 2019 festival. Festival-goers will find an astonishing array of food products, gifts and hand-crafted items, apparel and jewelry, home accessories, personal care products, artwork, fresh produce and other products from across the 50th state. They also can enjoy ‘made in Hawaii’ entertainment throughout the 3-day festival as Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners bring their musical talent to the entertainment stage and Hawaii’s Hale Aina Award winning chefs heat up the Arena stage with cooking demonstrations and tasty samples. In 2018, the festival welcomed a record-breaking 60,000 residents and visitors, including more than 1,000 buyers from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland and abroad who seek locally made products to purchase in quantity following the event.
