Taste of Hongwanji Bazaar
Come and enjoy a fun-filled day of delicious food, taiko performances, games and other entertainment. The bazaar will feature a wide collection of handcrafted items, a plant sale, fresh produce, the popular Hongwanji Cookbooks – Favorite Island Cookery, and a great rummage sale of hidden treasures. You are sure to satisfy your appetite with fried noodles, beef stew, waffle dogs, bbq chicken, baked goods, tsukemono, shaved ice, and lots more. Affiliated temple organizations, the Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, Hongwanji Mission School, Pacific Buddhist Academy and the Moilili and Kailua Hongwanji temples will also have a large assortment of specialty items.
