Four Michelin-star rated Chef Kunio Tokuoka is planning his return to Hawaii this spring for a series of epicurean events hosted by 53 By The Sea. From March 6 - 8, 2019, the popular Honolulu fine-dining restaurant will transport guests to the tranquil, bamboo-lined streets of Japan for Taste of Kyoto, featuring multi-course masterpieces inspired by Chef Kunio Tokuoka’s KYOTO KITCHO restaurants in collaboration with celebrated local chef, Chef Alan Wong. Building upon the deep bonds of friendship between Japan and Hawaii, Chef Kunio Tokuoka (KYOTO KITCHO), Chef Alan Wong (Alan Wong’s Restaurants), and Chef Joshua Goetz (53 By The Sea) will transport diners while highlighting the unique flavors of both countries during an elegant, multi-course meal.
