2017 Van Cliburn Finalist: Kenny Broberg
2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition silver medalist, Kenny Broberg, performs at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Orvis Auditorium on March 31at 7:30 P.M. as part of his 2017-2018 debut season recital tour. Broberg’s performance in Honolulu will be his last stop in his tour in Hawaiʻi, which also includes performances in Maui and Big Island. The Texas Classical Review said that Broberg’s performance at the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition showed “an imaginative shaping of themes, revelation of inner voices, and an unfailing sense of momentum”. Audiences do not have to be fans of classical music to become inspired by Broberg as he brings forth his skills and passion for the piano.

Food will be available for purchase before the show while audiences can enjoy some pre-show entertainment.
