Mark your calendar for the 3rd Annual Mango Jam Honolulu, “A Taste of Island Culture,” a FREE 2-day festival celebrating one of the island’s most beloved fruits, the MANGO! The public is invited to enjoy the free festivities taking place on Friday, June 29, 4:30 pm – 9 pm and Saturday, June 30, 10 am – 9 pm on the Frank F. Fasi Civic Center Grounds surrounding Honolulu Hale. Mango Jam Honolulu 2018 is presented by the Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts and the HawaiĘ»i Food Industry Association. The event includes award winning live entertainment, The Mango Café with a selection of multi-ethnic food booths offering mango-inspired dishes and beverages, The Mango Lounge featuring a pop-up bar with mango-inspired drinks, Mango Row spotlighting local vendors, arts and crafts plus a Mango Market featuring a farmers market, plants and more. Members of the Honolulu Woodturners will demonstrate their skills by using mango wood for various projects throughout the event. The event has free admission and free parking in the city’s municipal parking lot and nearby Kalanimoku building. Drivers are asked to use the entrances as marked.
