An Evening of Edo Sato Kagura - Music & Dance of Old Tokyo
Visiting artist Kyosuke Suzuki is from the Wakayama Shachu of Tokyo, a group recognized as an intangible cultural property by the Japan Ministry of Culture. He is acknowledged by may around the world as the top lion dancer of the Edo tradition. He will be performing his art for one night only at the Izumo Taishakyo Mission in downtown Honolulu on Saturday, September 2 at 6pm.
