| Naked Turtle's Get Naked Pool Party & Mahina Market @ Turtle | ||||||

Summer has arrived and Naked Turtle Rum has teamed up with Turtle Bay Resort to bring Oahu’s biggest pool party of the season to the North Shore on Saturday, May 28th, from 2–4:30 p.m. This sizzling summer kickoff party will be followed by the Mahina Market, a new night market event that Turtle Bay Resort plans to host on a monthly basis, from 5–8 p.m. The Get Naked Pool Party will feature a live DJ, lawn games, a fully stocked snack bar, special drink menu and prize giveaways for partygoers to enjoy when not cooling off in the pool. The special edition drink menu, designed by expert mixologists specifically for the event, will feature Naked Turtle Rum and fresh island flavors. The Get Naked Pool Party will be followed by the Mahina Market event, which will be held at Kuilima Point. Turtle Bay plans to host Mahina (which translates to moon in Hawaiian) Market every month around the full moon, a free event highlighting the culture and lifestyle of the unique North Shore community. Guests can enjoy the sunset with a free yoga class to kick off the evening’s festivities, and will be available to all in attendance, with instruction provided by Core Power Yoga of Ward Center. Stroll along the lawn while enjoying the musical stylings courtesy of DJ Alissa Jo, sometimes called Hawaii’s “Downtempo Diva”. Vendors participating in the Mahina Market event will have stalls lining the lawn with an assortment of unique finds and experiences—including live craft making, local art, photography, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, clothing and much more. Companies scheduled to participate in the event include MojoBeebee Bikinis, Nak on Wood, GreenRoom Gallery Hale‘iwa, Siren Booty, The Blonde Shark, Stephanie Boinay Art, Kawela Kai Jewelry and more. Gourmet bites, plate lunches, homemade goods and other delicious eats from Ke Nui Kitchen, NS Kula Grille, among others, will be available, and a spirits bar will be provided for guests as well. The event’s custom edition drink menu is inspired by the beautiful landscape of Turtle Bay and the widely popular Naked Turtle white rum. The cocktails that will be offered that evening include the Naked Rum Punch, Naked Therapy, and the Turtle Bay Mangojito. The Naked Rum Punch is made with Passion-Orange-Guava juice and Naked Turtle white rum, with a hint of bitters and grenadine that make for the perfect summer pool party drink. Naked Therapy is as enticing as it is delicious—with Naked Turtle white rum, lychee liqueur, grapefruit juice and a freshly cut pineapple spear added, it is sure to please anyone who enjoys the Hawaii sun, surf and summer nights. Finally, paying homage to the laid back and relaxed lifestyle of North Shore locals is the Turtle Bay Mangojito. For this special custom-made cocktail, Naked Turtle white rum, mango puree, sweet & sour, and sprigs of mint will be blended together to make the perfect drink for partiers to cool down with. ## About Turtle Bay Set on 850 acres overlooking Kuilima Cove, this upscale resort is 7.4 miles from the Polynesian Cultural Center. Airy rooms and suites with ocean-view balconies offer 40-inch flat-screen TVs, mini fridges and Keurig coffeemakers. Cottages have private patios and walnut floors.
