HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR AND THE BLUES
Blues and steel guitarist Bobby Ingano will provide an informative look at the music of Hawaii. The Lanai City native has been renowned for his blues guitar and Hawaiian steel guitar music since 1980 and internationally regarded as Hawaii's best steel guitarist since the passing of steel icon Jerry Byrd. Bobby was awarded the 2013 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Best Instrumental Album for his Steel ‘n Love album. He has also performed on several Grammy Award winning and nominated compilation albums. This 45-minute program is suitable for ages 5 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. For more information, contact a host library.
