ABOUT BRUG
BRUG Bakery is a well-known Japanese Bakery from Sapporo, Hokkaido (Japan). Our founder, Katsuhide Takemura, started BRUG Bakery in 1977, serving additive-free, low-calorie, all natural, and high-quality breads. It has since grown to become the most famous bakery in Sapporo. Takemura now has five stores in Sapporo, and opened his first BRUG Bakery outside of Japan in Hawaii, at Shirokiya, Ala Moana Center, on July 3, 2013.

BRUG carefully selects each ingredient and makes our products with dedication, exclusive techniques, and love from the experienced professional bakers. We use flour from wheat grown in the Hokkaido region, made specifically only for our bakery, to make our BRUG breads and pastries.
