| Taiko Classes for families, all ages and skill levels | ||||||

Celebrating 20th year anniversary! Taiko Center of the Pacific (TCP), a school of traditional and contemporary Japanese drumming, was established in 1994 by Kenny and Chizuko Endo to preserve traditional Japanese drumming and to create new music for taiko. TCP offers classes in taiko drumming to the general public year round for all ages and all skill levels. Since its inception, thousands of children and adults have studied kumidaiko, or ensemble drumming, at Taiko Center of the Pacific. Students learn basic form, technique, practice pieces, and cultural customs associated with the art form. Highlights of Fall Session I and II 2014 are Family Taiko (Age 5 or above with parent/familiar adult), Taiko Tots (Age 2-4 with parent/familiar adult), all levels for youth and adult classes. We will be preparing for our annual Bonenkai (Student recital) celebrating 20th anniversary. |
