Taiko Classes
Celebrating 20th Year Anniversary! Taiko Center of the Pacific (TCP), a school of traditional and contemporary Japanese drumming, was established in 1994 by Kenny and Chizuko Endo to preserve traditional Japanese drumming and to create new music for taiko. TCP offers classes in taiko drumming to the general public year round for all ages and all skill levels. Since its inception, thousands of children and adults have studied kumidaiko, or ensemble drumming, at Taiko Center of the Pacific. Students learn basic form, technique, practice pieces, and cultural customs associated with the art form. TCP is proud of its highly qualified instructors with Kenny Endo serving as Artistic Director.

Spring Session III 2014 is a 6 weeks session starting from Apr 13 - Jun 2, 2014. Choose from Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels for children, teen, adult, and family classes. Special this year will be a Beginning I Taiko class that will be taught IN JAPANESE! Another great bonding experience is the FAMILY TAIKO class for children ages 4-11 with their parents/adult, and Taiko Tots for age 2-4 with their parent/familiar adult.
